I was looking for my paint rag the other day and found this.
A couple years ago, I bought some bleeding art tissue to try a technique from Quilting Arts Magazine. I didn’t spend much time playing with it then, but I have been thinking about trying it again. I wasn’t thrilled with it the first time, but I can’t remember why. Has anyone else tried this?
The bleeding tissue is in stock at Michael’s. I tried, without success, using regular tissue paper from the gift wrap aisle. Apparently, they make a point to prevent that tissue from transferring color to other things, even when wet. My son used most of the non-bleeding tissue in various school projects, so it worked out.
I will post more about the technique once I find the back issue of Quilting Arts.
