Saturday, Snow and Stash

We’ve had a couple of inches of snow, waiting to see if we get the 12+ inches forecast.  The grocery store was crazy today with everyone stocking up.  Unfortunately, I always grocery shop on the weekends because all that's left in the fridge is condiments and a few pieces of fruit.  Such is life with a pre-teen boy in the house

One good thing about staying home in bad weather is having more time to sew.  I finally finished the purse from the Quilt University project, using nine different decorative stitches to do the quilting.

It fits right in with this weekend’s snow theme.

Since I mostly worked on the purse this week and counted that fabric last week, I didn’t use any stash.  I didn’t buy any either, so I’m holding steady.
