Some weeks pass by like the wait in a doctor’s office when they’re overbooked and others pass like a summer cloudburst. This was definitely a cloudburst kind of week.
I didn’t buy any fabric this week even though I had quilt group at a quilt shop. I used a 16.5” x 8.5” piece of fabric for my TIF block.
I spent today with three friends having a mini retreat at one of their homes. I got the strippy quilt tied using a packaged bat from stash. I rarely tie quilts, but the charity organization receiving this one wants them tied. We were all happy with how much we accomplished in one afternoon.
My official tally for January is no fabric bought and a quarter yard used, plus a full size packaged bat used.
