Stashing Through the Snow

I picked up the QOV quilt last Tuesday, attached the binding and started stitching it down by hand.  I’m half way around, but I’ll wait until I finish to post a picture.  The longarmer did a wonderful job of quilting it.

We traveled out of town this weekend, which gave me plenty of time for handwork.  After three hours of non-stop rain on the way to mom’s house, we drove through snow flurries and squalls on the way back.  Big wet flakes slapped the windshield, turned to slush, and slid off to the side to form an ice trail down the glass.  I’m so not ready for winter.

The binding busted a little stash.  I didn’t buy anything this week.
