I didn’t post a stash report last week because I had no activity to report.
This week I sewed all the happy blocks together using a quilt as you go technique. I can see how the technique would work on some quilts, but I swear it took me more time than I would have spent pin basting. With a quilt so small I’m better off doing it the old fashioned way. I plan to add more quilting, maybe something with butterflies in light blue variegated rayon thread. It told me so this morning in no uncertain terms.
I used one yard of fabric for the quilt and the backing. I didn’t buy anything this week, but soon the sales and quilt shows start. I must sew faster, I must sew faster……
