Several months ago I went to The Quilt Patch in Tecumseh, Michigan with some quilting friends to check out the big sale that weekend. The shop had all twelve calendar quilts from Quilter’s Dozen Plus by Janet Selek hanging on the wall.
In no time, all three of us stood looking at those quilts talking about which ones we liked, how those quilts should be the next challenge project, how many we could plan on doing in one year, and so forth.
Not one of us needed another project, but that didn’t stop us.
I started making the March quilt on Sunday. Since it technically qualifies as a challenge, it falls within my pledge not to start a new quilt without finishing a UFO. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
It feels good to piece again.
