Last night at Art Quilt Group, the shop owner gave as each one of these little demo kits.
She went to Spring Market and started talking to Rose Hughes about her work and her article in Quilting Arts Magazine. Rose was kind enough to give her a kit for everyone in the group.
The kit makes a small felted piece for use in jewelry or as an embellishment. It contains roving, cotton batting, a piece of hose, needle, thread and beads. The roving goes on the batting, and they both go inside the stocking, and then the stocking goes in the washer.
Isn’t that purple roving luscious? I’m sure there’s enough to make the demo and then some.
