My son has a doctor appointment tomorrow so we’re dropping off these quilts at the Children’s Hospital.
I was concerned we might be giving them more than they can use, but my contact said they were running low. It makes me wonder just how many families go through the NICU a month.
I’m grateful my own son stayed healthy most of the past year, but I remember many years when we weren’t so fortunate. I know a quilt can’t fix a sick child, but I hope the family gets some comfort out of knowing they aren’t alone and people care about them.
Thanks again to everyone who has donated time, energy, fabric, batting and quilts to support this project.
