My primary sewing goals this year are to try new techniques and finish UFOs, but I’m still tracking my stash totals because it keeps me from buying too much fabric.
I used a quarter yard on the teapot quilt and seven yards on this quilt. I picked it up from the quilter on Friday and attached the binding yesterday. It will take a few weeks to hand stitch the bindings on both these quilts.
On the plus side I bought 1.25 yards of fabric to recover a rocking chair and 1.4 yards came in as leftover backing from the red/green quilt. I bought my backing from the quilter and she gave me back the excess width. I swear I’m the only person that adds fabric whenever I finish a quilt.
Fabric Used YTD: 12.25 yards
Fabric In YTD: 6.65 yards
Net Busted: 5.6 yards
That is unique, adding fabric when you finish a quilt! Still in the black for this week, so you are still doing good.
