Look who finished her October UFO!
I’m so excited to have it done this month. Excited enough that I chose the next UFO I’m going to work on.
This is the quilt I started in the Esterita Austin’s class at the NQA show last June. I have a little more painting to do on two of the three pottery pieces, and then I can quilt it. I decided this piece is a good place to try corded binding, using the batik to cover the cord. I’ll probably try it on one of the charity quilts first. If I mess it up the first time, I’d rather mess it up on one of those.
I’m glad I switched to picking the UFOs myself. It feels much more natural to me.
