This two hour project took me five days, but now it’s done and in the mail. I can post a picture because the person I send to does not send to me, so she has no idea who I am.
I used this pattern for a receipt wallet and changed the construction method because I didn’t have oilcloth. It would also work as a checkbook cover.
Making this was a great reminder that I hate making crafty little sewing projects. As much as I’d like to keep all the scraps of paper floating around my purse in order, I’ll buy some cheap plastic version at the dollar store before I make another one of these. The next gift will be something quilty.
