More Class Exercises

I got through another exercise for the Quilt University class.  This one used black and white photocopies of fabrics from our stash instead of real fabric.  The lesson still falls under visual texture.

I really enjoyed this exercise, and my mind is spinning with all the things I can do with photocopied fabric.  I had no idea it would copy so clearly.  I did try to choose fabrics with high contrast between the background and the print.  Add color to the mix, and the possibilities are endless.

I’m still hoping to get through week one this weekend.  Only two more exercises to go.

Don’t forget you can also photocopy the fabric onto fabric with either bubble jet set or the store bought kind! You can even photo copy weird things onto fabric and use them in your designs. You are correct in your assumption that the possibilities are endless!
