A Sneaky Finish

Since most people read their email sitting down, I won’t worry about anyone falling over and hurting themselves, because OMG I actually finished something.

It was rather anticlimactic.  I woke up early and sewed the last border on the Fig Tree quilt.  Usually I do the happy dance when I finish a big top like this, but teenage boy was in the shower and my husband was still asleep.  Instead, I made myself breakfast, got dressed and went to work.  No fanfare.  No balloons.  No streamers.

It feels weird to have an evening without the thought of working on that quilt.

YAY! We’ll just give you the fanfare you deserve here on the blog!

Yippee! I will do the happy dance for you. I love the fig tree fabrics. Making a quilt with their fabric is on my “to do” list. Congrats on getting something done! I’m jealous.

Way to go! I always stand up at work and read e-mail so don’t do anything to over the top ;D
