NQA Columbus

I made it through the show buying only rayon floss and some sparklies for future experiments.

I saw fabric deals, but without a project in mind nothing really grabbed me.

It’s always fun to see so many beautiful quilts.  I felt like my brain would explode by the time I looked at the last one.  Linda Roy had a couple ribbon-winners in the show that were not alphabet themed.  Mary Buvia also had a quilt in the winner’s circle.  Again, beautiful work worth seeing.

No fabric used this week.

I’ll have to get in my sewing room today and do more rearranging.  My design wall overwhelms the space and I don’t enjoy working in there since I put it up.  So down it comes and up goes something else.  I just haven’t figured out what.

Sounds like you had a fun time at the show. Even better is that you weren’t tempted.

I love a quilt show. I find them so inspiring. I’m not into beading or using fancy threads, but the projects where they are used can be awesome. Hope your experiments have exciting results. Sandi

  3. I love a quilt show too! Great numbers, Donna.
