The nice thing about mid-week holidays is that I don’t have to spend five or six hours in the car going someplace. I had a chance to catch up on a lot of small things, including some sewing.
I got as far as sewing all the strips into sets of two. It doesn’t look like much now, but the embellishments will bring it to life.
I’m using the door as the design wall until I can get to the home improvement store and buy supplies to make a different one. My husband and I hashed that out tonight. I am spending more time in my sewing room now that it’s less crowded.
Getting a reasonably straight picture became something of an acrobatic feat, putting the home improvement store at the top of my weekend priority list.
