I did not buy any fabric at retreat, which was harder than it sounds. I didn’t sell any fabric either, but I did sell some books. More shelf room is always good.
I finished sewing the facing to Confetti Breeze and started tacking it down. I used the tutorial found here. Great directions, lots of pictures, beautiful results. I recommend her method to anyone facing a quilt for the first time.
I also finished sewing all the kit blocks together. No pictures because I’m having a hell of a time doing this from my iPad. I’ll post pictures later this week.
Confetti breeze is far enough along to consider it a bust. That’s 1.3 yards out, which puts me back in the black.
Fabric in: 9.25 yards
Fabric out: 9.75 yards
Net used: .5 yards
Congrats on being back in the black. Good job on resisting temptation at the retreat.
Thanks! I really didn’t need anything, but it was hard to pass up garage sale prices. I was just glad to get rid of a few things.
