I always have trouble restarting the sewing habit after going to retreat. Something about sewing for twelve hours straight make me shy away for a few days.
I laid out the kit blocks Sunday morning, but I forgot my camera and didn’t get a picture. There’s no room to lay them out here with the big pile of mom’s stuff in the living room, so that will have to wait.
I’ve been hand stitching the facing on Confetti Breeze. That I can show. I’m pleased with the way it looks on both the front and the back. I bookmarked the tutorial so I can use this method again.
My big goal this week is to catch up on my sleep. Between the cooler weather and the late hours on Friday night, I’m beat.
In spite of the tiredness, I sure wish I had another retreat scheduled. The dedicated weekend jump-started my progress on the October short list.
Can you post the link to that tutorial again? The one in the blog post doesn’t work for some reason. I have tried these without success. Maybe this one will work for me.
