If you’re going to go, go big.
I got to the sale at my local quilt shop right when they opened. I was on my way home from the grocery store and didn’t want to run back that way later.
The last thing I expected was fabric priced at $1 to $2 a yard. Whatever was left on a bolt of older fabric was rolled in a bundle and priced to sell. I didn’t see anyone pass that up while I was there.
That makes 11.5 yards in. I have backs for the next five years and one piece of white to dye. I didn’t use any fabric last week.
I also picked up a book to help me use all that fabric.

Fabric In: 26 yards
Fabric Out: 10 ½ yards
Net Added: 15 ½ yards
Wow! What prices! It’s worth adding at those $1 to $2/yard
You did really well at those prices.
It would be really hard not to add at those prices.
Good for you. That was a great sale. I would have made a bigger dent at those prices. I can’t resist a good sale even when I know I’ll never use it all. I can always gift it to make someone else’s day too.
I have that book! It has lots of great projects for your scraps. Sounds like you got some great deals.
