Poppy Progress

Every night I sneak into the sewing room and fuse a few more pieces on the poppy quilt.  I definitely need to think of a better name for it.  I finished all the flowers and moved on to the stems and leaves.

I love the process, but future designs will not have so many skinny little pieces.  They are hard to work with.

Looking forward to removing the freezer paper and seeing what the design looks like against the background fabric.

Blue and orange is one of my favorite color schemes.  I didn’t realize that until Lyric Kinard pointed it out to me when I took a class from her.

Have a creative weekend!
