Quilt As Desired, Part Two

We left off in the last post with the border.  Here’s a picture of the quilting with the paper removed.

In the center I wanted to play up the tulip design.  I did not mark the lines in the flowers or the leaves.  I marked the stems and the echo quilting around the flowers with blue painter’s tape.  Painter’s tape is one of my favorite marking tools because it’s easy to use and it doesn’t leave any residue on the fabric.  It doesn’t get any better than that.

I plan to finish the quilt this weekend and move on to the next project.
