Sunflower Fabric

I pulled fabric for the Sunflower quilt yesterday, just so I would have something to talk about that isn’t Retro Charm. Changing the background color made a huge difference in the look of the quilt and my attitude toward it.

sunflower-quilt-fabricsFor all the fabric I bought last year, most of what I pulled for this quilt came out of UFO boxes. Good thing it’s a small project. I could easily get myself in trouble this way.
At least I managed to pull all of it from stash.
Nothing in or out this week. My first bust won’t come until I finish something on The Short List, probably late this month.
I’m linking to Patchwork Times.

Nothing in is still a good start. I like that pattern. I am a sunflower girl, born in Kansas.

I like the bluish color for the background. It will look like your sunflowers are dancing against the sky!

  4. Great numbers. That’s going to be a great, happy quilt.
