Stash Report Almost Flowers

No fabric or yarn bought or used this week.
I made progress on the slice quilt. Once I add the pinky purple to the white petals all the fusing will be done.

slice-in-processI added paint highlights as I fused. I’m very happy with how those turned out on the large leaf and the yellow petals.
I hope the quilting will mask all the shadowing. Quilting can hide a multitude of sins, right? I tried to fix some of it, but couldn’t get the Mistyfuse to loosen enough to correct in some places.
When I took a class from Esterita Austin a few years ago, she said you could re-warm the fabric and the pieces would come back off. I figured she knew since she invented the stuff. Apparently I have a rogue piece.
I’m sure it will all work out in the end.
I’m linking to Patchwork Times.

Your art quilt is lovely. Never would have guessed it was made with fabric if you hadn’t shown both pictures.

Pretty artwork block. Did you really use 400 yards of fabric already?? WOW! Oops, I went back to look at it again and saw a key word that I missed the first time — yarn, not fabric. I really do need to get my eyes checked soon!. lol

Really how this piece is coming. Only you can see the flaws. Have a good week.
