August Scrap Progress And September Goal

There’s a scrap challenge going on over at Confessions Of A Fabric Addict. The best part of the challenge is that each participant sets her own goal for the month.

My August goal was to finish the Market Bag, but I didn’t work on it. Instead I made all the blocks for the first experiment in dyeing finished quilts. I did make a bit of a dent in the scrap basket.

I didn’t fuss over what fabrics I put together, and I’m sure I sewed some of the logs in the wrong order.   Some blocks have more logs than others. I doubt any of them are square. Throwing the whole thing in the dye bath will hide a multitude of sins.

My goal for August is to finish this quilt and get it dyed. I may even work on the Market Bag again this month.

My Short List now has a definitely scrappy theme.

You can see all the other scrap goals at Confessions Of A Fabric Addict.

That looks amazing – I cannot wait to see what it looks like after you dye it!
