Stash Report And Hatchet Blocks

No fabric bought and nothing finished this week.
I made some progress on the hatchet blocks for the Stitching To Dye Quilt #3.

Once I get 20 or so made I’ll play around with the setting and go from there. The whole piece will be dyed – twice – after it’s quilted. Arranging the blocks has a lot more to do with a pleasing distribution of lights and dark than with pattern. I will also need open spaces where I can add trim. It’s a different way of thinking about a quilt top, at least for me.
I’m linking to Patchwork Times.

This looks like an interesting layout. Will be curious to see what you do next and how it looks after you dye it.
