In case you haven’t heard, Judy is no longer posting the stash report linky on her blog, Patchwork Times. Without a public forum to encourage accountability, I’m a little concerned my stash will multiply at a much higher rate. Anyone else feel the same?
So for the next month, I will post a linky on my blog in case anyone else wants to continue with the stash reports. If it doesn’t catch on, I’ll let it go, but still continue to post my own stash numbers on a less frequent basis. I just happened to have time to post tonight, but in the future the linky will go up on Sunday.
Today was my guild’s fabric sale. In my own defense, this is what a fabric sale at my guild looks like. They continued to add fabric to the tables for another hour or so after I took this picture.
I bought about half the fabric I would normally buy, which I thought showed great restraint on my part.
I picked up one bag of quilt pieces with no pattern included, some already sewn together, like I do at every sale. I’m a sucker for a good challenge, and those nameless UFOs always provide one.
Positive usage was fun while it lasted. I have no doubt I can get back there before the end of the year.

Fabric out: 11.25 yards

How did you do this week?
Note: Wordpress is not the most user friendly blogging platform. Once you link, your link will not immediately show up. I apologize, I will get it fixed by next week.

Thanks much for continuing the stash report. I feel the same about being accountable. It’s easier when you know lots of others are “watching” you. lol I will be linking tomorrow (after I get my blog updated. You showed great restraint at the fabric sale.
I was wondering if anyone would pick up the stash report. Thank you for doing it. I’ve linked up, but it doesn’t look like anything happened.
You did really well at not going overboard at the guild sale Talk about temptation!
I’m so glad you are continuing the stash report linky. I hope you get lots of participants.
Great purchases at the fabric sale. Good luck with the nameless UFO!
I brought home way too much but I got specific things. I filled the holes in purple and pink because I don’t like those colors and it’s less painful to buy them there. But unfortunately I stopped at an estate sale on the way home. Three, yes three, rooms packed with plastic bins of fabric all sorted by color. Also one room held fat quarters, rulers, books and patterns. She had sooooo many multiples of tools and books! Books were $1 and fabric was $2 a yard. Luckily a great deal of it was not quilt shop fabric but I managed to buy enouh any way. I still don’t want to keep track of anything though! LOL!
I, too, was sad when Judy L decided to not do the stash links. However, I totally understand that her focus has changed. And I feel the same way as you about accountability and posting my blog’s stash report. I’ve just started following you so that I can easily link to your posts! YEAH!!! I’ll be posting when I can.
