Sunday Stash December 3, 2017

No fabric in or out this week.
I never got back into the sewing room after last Sunday, although I did spend a fair amount of time messing around with other things yesterday, I was missing one thread color for the vintage embroidery and checked for that at Michael’s when I was out getting groceries. Michael’s does not carry perle cotton #8, nor does Joann’s if I remember right. The needlework shop in town closed years ago. I think the closest place with a good selection is in Tecumseh, about a 45 minute drive and way too close to a wonderful quilt shop.
I also started watching a Craftsy class I bought a long time ago called Thread Art. The class isn’t what I thought it was. I need to watch more to figure out if I can adapt it to fit my interests.
Finishing Christmas gifts is high on today’s list. That will mean a bust for next week.
Fabric In: 34.125 yards
Fabric out: 29.325 yards

Hope you can find your embroidery thread. Good luck with all your Christmas gifts!

  2. Dar says:

What color of perle cotton #8 do you need? I have a small supply and if you want, I would be glad to check at our LQS for the color if I don’t have it.

  3. Patricia says:

Ditto here! Let me know what color you need!
Hope you enjoy your Christmas sewing! Thank you for hosting!
