April Scrap Attack And March Finish

My March Scrap Attack project was a continuation of my February project. Collage quilts are WAY out of my comfort zone, so I struggled a bit in a good way. It’s finished and I’m happy with it, which is all that matters.
birds onlyI’m not done playing with collage but will take a break from it for a few months. I like the freedom of the process. I struggle with the design decisions. I expect it will get easier as I make more of them.
For April I picked #12 on my list, another undefined small project. I need to make a name tag to wear at my Needle Arts Guild meeting. It has to have some kind of needlework on it. Embroidery will be my choice. I think it’s the perfect place to use scraps.

  1. Your little collage quilt is really cute. The birds look good, and I like that the branches have texture. Well done! My goals often overlap into other months, too. I’m just sayin’,

I love your red birdies! Good luck on your challenge for April.
