No fabric in or out this week.
I went to Joann’s Friday with a wad of coupons and didn’t buy anything. I was looking for embroidery supplies that they don’t carry and good quality cotton knit fabric. No luck on the fabric either. There will be a road trip in my future for fashion fabric.
I finished the last piece in the dresser set and moved on to the next hand project. It’s folded in half here.

Such fine work. Very nice. Wish I vould say no fabric in, but I can’t. 😬

  2. Julie in GA says:

Your embroidery is very pretty! Too bad you couldn’t find what you needed at JoAnn’s when you were in the mood to buy. Better luck somewhere else!

  3. Marti says:

I love your dresser set. Did you crochet the edge also?

I soaked some really old stained embroidery in water with some laundry soap and with a little bleach in it and the embroidery came out beautiful! It didn’t fade at all and it looks pristine. I was a little bit nervous but it had to be done. I think the embroidery police might be looking for me.

Your handwork is lovely…I’m so grateful you shared it! So inspiring! Thank you!

That’s a very pretty piece with the light yellow background. I’m surprised your JoAnn’s doesn’t have any embroidery supplies. Even our small one carries DMC floss and perle, plus an off brand, and also aida cloth and other cross-stitch supplies, including hoops.

  11. That looks very familiar- I may have embroidered that one as a kid 🙂

  12. Kate says:

Your dresser scarf turned out beautifully! Hope you can find your embroidery supplies somewhere close.
