October 2018 Short List

I think every month goes fast, but September outdid itself. I only finished one small project.
I was crazy busy at work last month and expect that to continue through this month. I don’t have big hopes of finishing much.
The Short List includes something old (UFO), something new, a handwork project, a scrap project and a project in the design phase. I started using this system in November 2014 to keep myself focused. I add and delete categories over time as my interests change.
Something Old – I didn’t work on the bears at all last month. Maybe I’ll start on them this month.

Something New – I’ve altered a pattern for a shirt. I’ve wanted to get back to clothes sewing for a couple years.

Handwork – Autumn’s Call is in progress. This is a Crabapple Hill pattern.

Scrap Project – The table runner is fused and the pieces need appliqued.
floral runner
Design – I don’t have anything in the design phase right now. I have a project in mind, but it needs to wait.
I’m still working on the leader and ender project.
I’m not choosing a OMG this month because I know I won’t get to it. I’ll be happy if I finish the shirt.

I hope you can find some creative time; it isn’t an option…it is vital to your health! 🙂

I hope you have at least a little more time this month. The shirt could BE your OMG. =)

It’s good to have goals, and hoped for finishes. Sometimes we just don’t have the time to do as much stitching as we would like, but there’s always next month
