November 2018 Short List

Another month gone. I finished one project in October, the shirt. I think I’ll do better this month with the long Thanksgiving weekend.
It’s about time for some new projects on the list.
The Short List includes something old (UFO), something new, a handwork project, a scrap project and a project in the design phase. I started using this system in November 2014 to keep myself focused. I add and delete categories over time as my interests change.
Something Old – I didn’t work on the bears at all in the past two months. That probably means I should move on to something else, but nothing else caught my interest. The bears get one more chance.
Something New – I posted about the chicken quilt here. I plan to finish it this month. This is my OMG. It’s still a UFO, just not mine.
Handwork – I’ll finish Autumn’s Call this month.
Scrap Project – The table runner is fused and the pieces need appliqued.
Design – I need to work out one or more settings for the 9 patch blocks.
I’m planning on two finishes this month, but we’ll see how it goes. I’m linking to Elm Street Quilts for my OMG.
