Stash Report November 18, 2018

No fabric out this week.
On the way back from guild yesterday, we stopped at a quilt shop that is going out of business. There was very little left. I added a yard of batik and lots of embroidery thread.  The white floss has light iridescent blue in it.
GOB saleWe didn’t stop at our favorite thrift because it was game day. U of M is having a great season and Ann Arbor was a crazy place. We decided not to fight the madness.

Looks like you made out really well. It certainly seems like a lot of shops are going out of business. The remaining big one in Tulsa closed last month.

Don’t remind me!! And my Christmas season is 10 days shorter as we have to fit in our Christmas early because of traveling. Oh well, that’s life!

  3. Marti says:

One of our local quilt shops went out of business too and the one nearest me is reducing the amount of fabric they carry so they can concentrate on workshops. I’ve wondered if that is because they are struggling.

You had a great week showing more use than gain with your stash. Have a great Thanksgiving.

Your purchases are so perfectly what I’d have bought. I’m envious of the perle cotton balls. You still got more out than I did, because I did almost nothing last week. I’m very cognizant of that 6 week time frame!
