Too Many Choices

A new quilt project will begin in April, and I’ve been searching the stash for the perfect fabric. There are so many choices, I don’t know what to pick.
I considered and eliminated the Fig Tree polished cottons because I didn’t have enough.
I pulled out my cat fabrics, Japanese fabrics and a coordinating fabrics I bought at a guild sale. I probably have enough cat fabric for three quilts.
collectionsI also pulled out my bin of 1930s reproduction fabrics.
1930s printsSome of the pieces are small, but I think there’s enough larger pieces to get by.
And it goes without saying I have enough black and white prints to make a couple more tops. The QAL barely made a dent in the pile.
hand piecing qal fabricI could go on and on…..low volume, purples, hand dyes, batiks.
It’s so hard to pick a favorite. I enjoy them all for different reasons.
I plan to face Waiting For Spring and get the QAL top together before I start cutting the new project. Hopefully one of those piles will have caught my fancy by the time I’m ready to start cutting.

All the options are pretty! I just keep buying random pieces and none of them are meant to go together, but at least sometimes they coordinate.
