Sunday Stash March 31, 2019

Finally, something to report.
First I want to thank everyone that links up and everyone that stops by to check out the links. I’m way behind on responding to comments but do appreciate them. This month just got away from me.
I finished the improv quilt, Waiting For Spring, enough to count out the fabric. The sleeve is made but not attached because I plan to add some embellishments.
waitng for springI’m happy with the quilting in the main strip section and not so much with the rest. The dark part of the variegated thread was too dark for the quilt. I colored over it with white crayon, which toned it down some, and then painted it with white paint, which toned it down more. Once I add the embellishments it should look fine.
In my world there is nothing on a quilt that can’t be fixed with crayon and paint.
