Happy Mother’s Day! Hope everyone gets a chance to do something nice for themselves. For me that involves time in the sewing room.
Fabric went out with the QAL top finish. No fabric in this week. Next Saturday my guild has its annual fabric sale. The numbers will go up…the only question is how much.
It’s time for the next project on the list. I picked a design for my hoop art challenge and some possible background fabrics. I wanted a design that would fill the space and provide opportunities to use paint, specialty fabrics, etc.
The goal today is to trace off the design and pull materials for the hoop art and start cutting my next quilt.
Fabric Added: 14.25
Fabric Used: 3.5 yards
Net Fabric In: 10.75 yards

I like your starting point for the hoop art. Can’t wait to see it as it progresses.
This looks like a fun project!
Happy Mother’s Day, Donna!
I had more out than in, so it was a good week.
That’s a beautiful design! I’m looking forward to seeing your progress! Thank you for hosting!
