Appropriate Ending

After much auditioning, I finished the hoop on the hoop art challenge.
This trim worked out the best, although I liked lace better. Unfortunately, the lace stash didn’t include anything narrow enough. Wide lace and dark colors overwhelmed the piece. Good to know for future projects.
I plan to play with paint and embroidery again but on a bigger scale. The 4-inch hoop limited both the design and the stitches. Next time I’d like to have a few more options.
