November 2019 Short List

The list gets a complete overhaul this month. I finished the Holly Runner and the pillowcases in October. I also started and finished Pineapple Punch, although it wasn’t on the list. I did enough work on the bear blocks to figure out I needed a new plan that fit the style of the blocks. I also want to add a mindless sewing project.
The Short List includes something old (UFO), something new, a handwork project, and creative play/design. I started using this system in November 2014 to keep myself focused. I add and delete categories as my interests change.
Something Old – I’m moving the orphan project out of rotation because it needs more attention than I can give it. The bear blocks will take this slot, even though they’re hand work.
bear1 frameSomething New – I’m finishing an orphan rail fence quilt that came from the charity table at Guild.

Handwork – The cross stitch penguins.

teacup roseThe teacup pincushion will likely be the only finish this month. Sewing the rail fence top together will be my OMG. I’d like to have the quilt finished by the end of the year. I’m linking to Elm Street Quilts.

This is a good list, Donna! Those cross stitch penguins have come a long way…almost there! 🙂

Rail top fence is a great block. Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and good luck with your project.
