February 2020 Short List

Not much progress on the list last month. Many projects moved forward, but nothing was finished. I’ll see a few finishes this month.
The Short List categories are UFO, garment, original design and stitchery. I’ve used some form of this system for over 5 years to help keep me focused. I change the categories as my goals and interests change.
UFO – All the frames are embroidered on the Bear quilt. It’s waiting its turn in line.
bears 1 to 10Garment – Very Easy Vogue shirt. This project is next on the list, in either green or pink. I’ll pull the supplies out this weekend.
Vogue and fabricsOriginal Design – The Guild Challenge Quilt, which I named Destination Unknown. I need to add the starfish and hand stitch the facing.

ugc with appliqueStitchery – I haven’t touched the cross stitch. I’d like to start framing it later this month.

bluebird cabinOther – I haven’t started the quilt my sister and I are sewing at the same time. I’ve been thinking about it a lot. Does that count? This one falls into the semi-annual category and will run into April.
I finished sewing the blocks and moved to the cutting and trimming stage on the charity quilt. This also falls into the semi-annual category.
The Vogue shirt will be my OMG, linking to Elm Street Quilts.

Looks like a really useful top pattern. Hopefully it works out for you.

Love the cross-stitch! And can’t wait to hear how the top sewing goes, I need to get a serger so I can get back to garment sewing.

I always like reading the variety of what you are doing. That shirt looks like a great pattern in either color.
