Fall is in the air here. The nights are cooler and the days shorter. The changing season shifts my attention away from outside activities, to home and holidays. The cooler it gets, the more I want to sew and stitch.
I finished the tee shirt and framing project in August.
Going forward, if I am passing on a category I will leave it off the list. The list will include only active categories.
The Short List categories are UFO, garment, original design, stitchery, framing, charity and other. I’ve used some form of this system for 6 years to keep me focused. I change the categories as my goals and interests change.
UFO – I’m ready to applique the birds on Birds In The Branches. I need to wash the fabric first. I’ve had multiple projects run this summer and want to make sure it doesn’t happen to this quilt.

Original Design – I haven’t worked on it much this month. I don’t have a clear idea of what to do next. I keep looking and sketching, but nothing appeals enough to move forward.

Stitchery – I’m still working on Christmas Eve.

Charity – Half of the zigzag quilt is sewn together.

Finishing the zigzag quilt will be my OMG, linking to Elm Street Quilts. I’d like to finish the entire quilt, but I’ll stick with just the top as my goal.
I am curious to see how the art quilt progresses, Donna! 🙂
So am I!
Lots to keep you busy Donna! The zigzag pattern is very patriotic. Birds in the Branches is my favorite. I like the Christmas Eve craft as well.
Happy sewing. Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and good luck with your project!
