No fabric in or out this week.
I finished most the applique on Birds. There are a few more leaves to add once the borders are on.
After seeing how much time it takes to pre-wash fabrics, I remember why I never did it. I washed the border fabrics today, and the reds gave off a lot of color. Some I had to wash twice. I’m glad I washed them, but I need to remember to factor that time into my sewing plans.
Fabric In: 17.75
Fabric Out: 15.25 yards
Net Fabric In: 2.5 yards

It looks great Donna! The birds are a nice pop of color!
I like it! Do you use color catchers when you wash? They are especially nice when you are doing the dye wash out. I save them for collage work!
