I’ve made some progress on both of my slow stitching projects.
I finished task #10 on the Crazy Quilting Course.

I have two more tasks to go to finish the course.
The Christmas Eve cross stitch is in the home stretch.

The tree branches will extend further over the houses. The backstitching is complete from the right side to the middle. There isn’t a lot of backstitch in this chart. The design has a softer look.
Once a project gets this close to done I tend to sit down and power through it, just to move on to something new. As much as I’d love to do that, I have other projects I want to finish. I work on this piece a little every day and expect to finish it in April.
I’ll likely finish the Crazy Quilt Course in April too. I can’t wait to only focus on one slow stitch project at a time!
Both of these projects are turning out so well, Donna! April isn’t that far away! đŸ™‚
Both projects are pretty. Love the details on the crazy quilt square. I just donated one to the homeless shelter near us. It went really fast to someone in need. I was so happy to see the person exit the shelter wrapped in it and grinning from ear to ear.
Beautiful!
