I finished two items in August, the circle challenge and the November BOM blocks. I just realized the BOM wasn’t on last month’s list. Sneaky how it cut to the front of the line.
The Short List categories are UFO, garment, original design, hand work, finishing, classes and other. I’ve used this system for 7 years to keep me focused. The categories change as my goals and interests change. Categories with nothing in process will not be listed, only active categories.
Original Design – I think about Open Dialogue often, but it probably won’t see the light of day in September.
Other – Waugh Street Christmas is basted for quilting.
I decided on a quilting design, and then decided I wanted to practice it and pulled out a table runner panel. I really like the design on that panel. Now I have two projects in this category.
Hand Work – Stitching continues on NOEL, from the book A Cross Stitch Christmas. I started the last letter.
Garment – The pants have been on the list so long they are out of season. I need to re-evaluate!
UFO – Since I’m actually working on it I’m listing the BOM. The January blocks are up next.
Finishing – I keep thinking about all my stitched pieces that need finishing. I may cave send a piece or two out for framing. I’ve always done it myself, but I don’t have time right now.
The list has taken on a life of its own this month. Any one of three projects could work as my OMG. It’s so hard to pick when you like them all. The table runner will be my OMG, linking to Elm Street Quilts.
