For my December OMG, I decided to finish the two halves of the pinwheel charity quilt. I plan to quilt it in sections, which is why I didn’t sew the two halves together.

I picked this project up off the charity table at Guild. The bag contained partially sewn HST pieces, very few cut apart, and a picture of a quilt top. I ditched the picture, sewed the pinwheels and designed the quilt from there. I added a few of my own pinwheel blocks, the colored fabrics in the borders and all the black and white fabrics.
All things considered, it turned out better than I expected.
I’m linking to Elm Street Quilts. Make sure to check out the links to all the other finishes.
Looks great! I love the variety of pinwheel colours!
Thanks!
Congrats on your final finish for 2022. The pinwheels turned out beautifully!
Thanks! Not bad for winging the pattern.
Congrats on the fun finish! Happy New Year! 🙂
Thanks! Looking forward to seeing what you get up to in 2023. 🙂
Me too! Ha, ha!
I have had no time to plan anything yet. 🙂
