No fabric in this week.
SS yellowMy quilt guild held a virtual meeting yesterday. Because of the group’s size, only a few people were audio enabled. While I listened to all the info being shared, I framed another embroidery.
dream hope embI finished this maybe ten years ago? I sewed strips of muslin around the picture for a little fabric out. The design was printed so close to the edge of the fabric that there wasn’t enough fabric to turn over the foamcore and baste. Adding the fabric strips worked well.

Beautiful embroidery! That was such a smart way to make it work with your frame.

Very pretty; and encouraging too! 🙂

Nice stitching and framing. The sentiment is very much in step with these times we are experiencing. Hope to see you virtually at the Last Saturday Stitch In, May 30th. I just realized that perhaps I had better ask if anyone will be planning to attend, since things are opening up now.
