May 2024 Short List and OMG

The days just fly by.

In April I finished Freeze Fame and the stitching on the Gardener’s Angel of Spring. That was one more project than I thought I’d finish. I didn’t begin anything new.

I started The Short List many years ago to create short-term goals and a way to focus. I change things up as my priorities and interests change.

Project 1 (Stitching): Summer Flowers, a kit I bought at the thrift in March. It’s small and won’t take long.

Project 2 (Finishing): I have a frame picked for Gather and Give Thanks.

Project 3 (Finishing): I also have a frame picked for Gardener’s Angel of Spring.

Project 4 (UFO): Remember Me, a member quilt from a group I belonged to many years ago. The quilting continues.

Any of the first three projects are candidates for my OMG. I may even finish all of them. Wouldn’t that be something? I’ll keep it simple and name framing the Gardener’s Angel of Spring as my OMG because I want to get it on the wall.

You have some fun projects on tap for this month. Fingers crossed you finish them all.

Pretty handwork! I particularly like the top one–what a great find. Looking forward to seeing the framed stitchery.

    • Thanks! It’s stitching up fast. There is a larger pattern with several jars of flowers in a line that I have looked at over the years. I thought I might get bored with the larger one, but this one is perfect.
