Stash Out And Short List Finish

I finished the Sunflower Quilt yesterday.  The center looks a little washed out in the picture.  I can never get really good photos when it’s overcast.

sunflower-quilt-finishedAfter auditioning floss to embroider leaf stems I decided I like the quilt better without them.
This is the first April Short List finish. It’s a smallish quilt, so only 2/3 yard out.
I didn’t even think about buying fabric this week. The stash is large enough that can sew many, many projects without buying anything new. I can always find something in the stash that will work.
I’m linking to Patchwork Times.
Fabric In: 3 2/3 yards
Fabric Out: 6 2/3 yards
Net Fabric Used: 3 yards

I like the short list concept. I’m on a yahoogroup called stashbuster that has. fab Four concept. Everyone works it as it fits them. It’s helped me in the past to narrow my focus. Love your sunflowers.
