No change in the numbers.
The Guild Challenge top is sewn together, but I’m still working out the applique design in the middle.

The theme is the ocean, and the quilt must contain a shark, a starfish, something plastic and a recognizable piece of the focus fabric (below). The group also decided the quilts should be square. AQS requires the quilts to be at least 30 inches on each side.

I had a few comments on block size. The blocks finish at four inches, which does make those some very small pinwheels.

That is a quite a set of requirements. Something plastic would stump me, unless that includes tiny things like beads or buttons. That last photo is your focus fabric? I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

You could do a plastic bottle with that focus fabric. 🙂 What a challenge.

That would be quite the statement…the plastic bottle idea!
A small group that I once belonged to had a small brown bag exchange. Mine had a flute and I made a Pied Piper story quilt. Another person received rubber bands and paper clips…she made a cool ragged edge cushion with curved denim shapes. Another received a bag of ribbons…she made an awesome memory crazy quilt! All of the challenges were fun and turned out great!
