No change in the numbers.
I sewed the rows together on the membership quilt and added the first of three borders.

The next border will be piano keys, followed by another muslin border. I’m not usually one for a lot of borders, but the quilt needs more width. I’m only adding borders to the sides.

How did you do this week?
Good luck with those borders. Pieced borders aren’t one of my favorite things.
I figure piano keys are pretty forgiving. Having bought the box of strips, my cutting will be minimal.
This looks like like a lovely traditional quilt! 🙂
It was a very traditional group, but they always showed interest in my less traditional projects. It was a great bunch of ladies.
I’ve often thought of adding borders to just the sides or the top/bottom. Looking forward to learning from you! Those fabrics….sigh…so pretty!
I know they aren’t on trend right now, but I do love the 30s prints. The motifs are so fun!
Yes, sadly 30’s have seen their time, for now. But I love them and will continue using them in the future! 🙂 https://faithtrustandbreastcancer.blogspot.com

That’s a great quilt project, and I look forward to seeing the whole thing.
Thanks! I have such fond memories of that group, it’s a pleasure to work on it.
That quilt is going to be very pretty. Have fun with your borders
