SS yellowI’m still plugging away at my three projects: The HST quilt, the penguins and Birds in the Branches. I cut the leaf shapes for Birds. Most still need the edges turned.
birds with leavesI expect to wash this quilt a couple times a year and I don’t want the applique to fray. Fusing would definitely have been faster.

Progress means you’ll have something going out soon. Happy stitching this weekend.

  2. Laura says:

Fusing may be faster, but faster doesn’t mean better, or more enjoyable. Slow down and enjoy what you are doing! 🙂

  3. Sounds like a good week – a trip to the quilt shop and progress on a few projects!

  4. Mia is mine says:

Your Birds in the Branches is gorgeious. I enjoy slow stitching with all my heart. Kathy over at Kathy’s Quilts has an amazing slow stitching link up every Sunday. Your beautiful work would fit right in! Thank you for sharing and hosting.
