No change in the numbers. I thought I’d have a donation, but it hasn’t left the house yet.
Next week.
I pulled fabric strips and started weaving yesterday. It will look like a hot mess until it looks way cool. Good to know that will happen sometime during the process.
I have also pulled yarn, trims and decorative threads to include in the weaving. Those will go in last.
Good thing that big darning needle came in the package with the webbing fabric. It makes things a lot easier.

Net Fabric In: 15.825 yards
How did you do this week?
Enjoy playing with your new project!
New projects are always fun!
Good luck weaving !
I’m very happy with the results. The second project was so much easier than the first, once I adapted it to my working style.
Always good to get into it with practise.
I love how you work through the messy part knowing it will turn out well. I need that confidence. Have fun with your new project.
How interesting…I’ve neve heard of weaving onto webbing fabric. That sounds so very cool!
Most things in my life are a hot mess in the beginning. I just have to have faith that everything will work out as it’s meant to and keep my vision in mind.
I love your attitude! So very true and inspirational! 🙂
Thanks! It comes with age. 🙂
I can’t take credit for the idea. The book is called Fabric Leftovers by D’Arcy-Jean Milne published in 2006 by C&T Publishing. It’s available on the secondary market. I first saw it at my local library, and then later bought it when it was withdrawn and placed in their book sale.
I just found it for a great price on Abe Books! Thank you for sharing!
Weaving fabrics seems to be on several of us’ agendas! I just finished a woven fabric project, too! 😉
It’s something you don’t see often, at least not around here. Great minds and all!
